Inspiring People

A few minutes ago I had this surprising realization. My best friend, the person who has stuck by me for over thirty years, who I speak to almost daily, he's not inspiring. He is the smartest person I know, there is nothing he can't do and yet at this moment in my life, I can't place him on the list of inspiring people. I love him dearly and I admire him, but he does not inspire me. How did I not see this before? I love talking to people and by the end of our conversation I am energized and eager to read something new, think more about a topic we discussed or investigate something that they really got excited about. They have a certain aura around them and leave you with a little piece of it. Now that is inspiring! I love spending an evening with a friend and three hours later we realize the time. It felt like one hour! The conversation flows and you throw ideas around, finish each other's sentences and know exactly what they are talking about. That is inspiring! Do you have people like that in your life?

  It's already the seventh day of January. How did that happen? So it's been a while since I wrote anything on here. A lot has happened since my last visit and life has been really challenging. When Life Gives You Lemons

  I lost a dear friend two weeks ago and I'm really struggling. Why her, God.......why? Why is cancer eating away at us, in so many different ways? Where is the miracle, and where is the cure? My only solace is that she is with her mom now. Lucy, my dear stubborn friend. I miss you so much! The world is a big mess and people are more isolated and lonely than ever before. What has happened to the human race? When did we stop caring about each other? When are we going to learn the lesson? I have so many questions, God! Information Overload

  Learning is a lifelong endeavour, but since this epidemic took over our lives I have consumed so much more information that my head is exploding. We are all looking for new ways to make money from home and that requires us to investigate options we never even considered before. How did we get here? You don't have to answer that. So much to investigate, so little time! Which ones work, which doesn't? Who can you trust? It can be scary to try something new, but also exciting. Then you talk to your friends and they share what they have learned as well. More information! Thanks to the internet and technology in general it is so much easier to start something new, but like all things in life, you have to do your homework. The competition is tough and you have to do something that stands out and attracts attention. You have to try and be more creative than the next guy or it might not work out. Research, plan and work at it every single day. The internet is your oyster! Keep moving...
